There is no better way to celebrate Mother’s Day than by showing my mum (my one faithful reader) what I have nicked from her wardrobe. Sorry, mum! I just couldn’t resist though. Some of my earliest memories are of my mother’s closets (yes, plural) and all the wonderful things she had in them – dozens of pairs of shoes and boots, long dresses and fur coats. It was basically my Narnia and I played dress up there all the time – which resulted in quite a few ruined items. Sorry, mum! Alas, she has given much of her wardrobe away over the years because she thought that nobody would want it in the future. You’re still not forgiven, mum! The irony here is that her only daughter turned into a vintage fiend and wears the exact same size in everything as the aforementioned mother.

I think she did it on purpose.
