I never much fancied blue, if I’m telling the truth. I’m not much for colorful attire – it’s outside of my comfort zone, usually. As such, I didn’t think I’d end up in the position of trying to figure out what to wear with light blue pants. And then I looked in my wardrobe and figured it out – match them with blue everything else. Because apparently I am now a person who owns several items of blue clothing and accessories. I also like going matchy -matchy.The reason? Bargain shopping! My heart literally skips a beat when I spot a bright red SALE sign and I’m constantly popping into TK Maxx – I’m a sucker for a bargain and I think you should be too!
This whole outfit is basically a perfect example of the benefits of bargain shopping. Saving you money is generally the main reason for sale hunting (and it’s pretty damn important) but don’t forget to take this opportunity to maybe shop outside of your comfort zone. I’m not telling you to buy things just because they’re cheap since they’ll just end up in the unworn pile in the back of your closet. Yes, you know the pile – the one with clothes with their tags still on.
That is not smart shopping. No, all I’m saying is give yourself permission to be braver. Pick up that skirt you’ve always been meaning to wear. Try to incorporate white in your wardrobe. In short, if you’ve been lusting over or curious about a certain item and you find it at a great deal, why not give it a whirl? The comfort zone will still be there waiting for you!
The top I have nicked from MTM but the the blue trousers + heels combo came at under £25 and the sunglasses I picked up months ago, heavily discounted, from TK Maxx, the mother ship of bargain shopping.
